Hope Tech 4 X2 Disc Brake
- Tech4 X2 brakes combine a powerful lever with a light caliper to deliver a versatile option for XC, "downcountry" and trail bikes
- Available in post mount or flat mount fitment
- The Tech 4 uses all new internal sealing for reduced friction and the pivot spins on roller bearings, allowing the spring rate to be reduced. The lower spring rate in turn gives a lighter lever action, reducing rider fatigue and keeping our legendary feel and modulation
- The X2 caliper utilizes hybrid style stainless steel pistons with a phenolic insert allowing for smoother movement and less maintenance, while still able to manage high temperatures without heat transfer during extreme use
- Lever shape updated to provide a more ergonomic shape orientated to provide the best mechanical advantage during braking
- Master cylinder includes reach and bite point control adjustability (BPC) and the piston is actuated by a cam and roller system to eliminate free play and friction
- Split clamp is designed to reduce clutter and create more space for handlebar mounted devices (directly compatible with Shimano I-Spec shifters)
- One piece 2-piston caliper is CNC machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminum alloy
- Includes: lever assembly, pre-bled (black) hose with stainless fittings, (74mm) caliper
- Black plastic hose comes standard. Use HT-1050 for upgrade to braided stainless steel hose
- Hose is pre-cut to front/rear lengths (950mm front, 1500mm rear) but do not include extra fittings if lines need to be cut or internally routed. Use HT-1035 (olive), HT-1036 (insert), and HT-1037/8 (copper washer)
